No:mad Men

Cinematic folk and Americana songs from the road. Raw, acoustic stories for loyal hearts, open roads and the quiet ache of time passing.

About

No:mad Story

No:mad Men was born somewhere between a breakdown, a dog, a guitar and an open road.

For years, music stayed private. A place to put what life had no room for: love and anger, grief and hope, old versions of myself, photos spinning around in my head, moments too heavy to carry but too important to lose. Songs became therapy. Paper became a lockpick. Emotions turned into chords, secrets into metaphors.

Then life cracked open. The version of success I had been chasing fell apart. So I sold what was left, packed a guitar, climbed into a van with Enzo, and headed north without a real plan. Just road, weather, silence and the strange relief of not having to pretend anymore.

The name carries two ghosts: nomads, always moving, and the mad men we become when we chase the wrong things for too long. No:mad Men is not one man pretending to be many. It is one man, one dog, and all the versions of himself he had to lose along the way.

The bad ghosts stayed behind. The road kept the rest.

No:mad Men is music from that place: raw acoustic songs about loyalty, freedom, loss, time, the richness of heart and the quiet kind of hope that does not shout.

Lyrics

No:mad Verses

No:mad Men – Enzo
[Verse 1] This goes out to my golden boy His name is Enzo and he loves toys Used to hate your fur all over my clothes Now I'm saving every strand for when you go You don't need much to smile Just a stick or an open mile Every moment with you feels like borrowed time Since you live seven days for every one of mine [Chorus] You listen when I break Love me through each mistake Never met a soul even close to yours Pure as the morning, soft as snow And if I’m honest, I dread the day When there’s emptiness right here where your head lays [Verse 2] We walked through heavy rain Then sold all we had, chased the waves Every field, every winding road You made it feel like coming home You don’t know it, but you saved my life When the world gets heavy, you make me feel light I don't deserve this love, but you give it anyway Unconditional, unbroken, every single day [Chorus] You listen when I break Love me through each mistake Never met a soul even close to yours Pure as the morning, soft as snow And if I’m honest, I dread the day When there’s emptiness right here where your head lays [Bridge] One day I'll walk through that door And you won't be here no more All your favorite stuffed friends around Still missing the ears - your playful battleground So we won't waste the time we've got left Won't let tomorrow steal today's breath Knowing you're living seven for my one Promise to make your seven worth my one [Verse 3] They say "All dogs go to heaven..." And GOD, I hope Then I saw His name in a mirror And it whispered "DOG" And one day, when you're called home away from me I know you'll be running through heaven's fields And if you're looking for me Don't you worry my friend You'll wake up one morning And we'll be together again [Outro] Lay your head down I’m right here with you Lay your head down I’m right here with you Lay your head down Everything will be okay
